What types of businesses do you help?

At Total Web Company can work with a wide variety of local and national businesses with 1, 100 or 1,000 employees. We are a great fit for contractors (roofers, HVAC, electricians, home remodeling), as well as restaurants, real estate, eCommerce and more!

How long does it take to build a website?

Depending on the scope of the project and the numbers of pages we aim for a 4 to 6 week timeframe for most websites (10 – 20 pages). However, if we are waiting for you to approve design features, website copy or send us images, this can delay the process.

How much will it cost?

The size of the website (number of pages we’re writing), the amount of design work we will do and any added plugins will affect the price of the website. A simple 5-page website will cost significantly less than a 10-page Woocommerce site with 35 items. We try to work with any size budget to create your business a well-designed, functioning website.

Will my website work on mobile devices?

Yes! Your website will be responsive and well-designed over all platforms: desktop, laptop, tablet and computer.

Can you build eCommerce websites?

Total Web Company does have the ability to build eCommerce websites. From skincare products to shipping containers and more, our portfolio includes several successful eCommerce websites.

Do you outsource your work?

No. All of our web design work is done by professional developers, designers and writers who work for Total Web Company in our Bristol, PA office or work remotely.

Does my business have to be local to you?

We can build websites for businesses local to Bucks County & Philadelphia and throughout the United States. To better accommodate our clients we do not build websites for companies in another country.

What platform(s) do you use to build websites?

Primarily, we work with WordPress, which is a superior CMS platform. WordPress gives us a lot of flexibility in custom design and management, as well as support. In the past, we’ve built websites in tables, HTML and Adobe Muse, but now we try to only work with WordPress.

Who will own my website once complete?

Our clients have full ownership of the website once the design is complete and it is launched. We offer superior hosting, but if you prefer to host it someone else the website can be easily transferred.

Can you take my existing website & redesign it?

In some cases, this is possible if the framework is functioning and you’re really just looking to enhance what you have. However, if your original website is not built in WordPress, many times it is more cost-efficient for you to let us move forward with a full redesign. We will help you make the best decision for your business and budget.

Can you make updates to my site when needed?

Yes! Simple changes such as hours of operation, phone number or email address can be easily taken care of at no additional cost. More extensive updates to photos, etc. will be additional.

Can I log into the site myself for changes?

If you feel confident in your ability to log into a WordPress website and make any changes then certainly. We will set you up as an administrator with full control & access to the website.

Please Note: If something happens to break due to changes you made we may have to charge a fee to restore the site.

Who will host my website?

We offer website hosting on a superior cloud server through Siteground, which includes backups and an SSL certificate. If your website is currently hosted somewhere we can easily transfer it to our server.

Similarly, if you prefer to host the site elsewhere, we can still build your website then transfer the files once complete.

How much creative input do I have?

As much or as little as you prefer. We are in constant contact throughout the design process to ensure you are completely happy with the final look and functionality.

Who writes the content for the website?

We have a team of professional SEO writers on staff. They will do extensive research to understand fully what keywords to target and how to write the correct wording for your industry.

Do you use pre-made templates?

No. All the websites we build are custom made and designed based on your industry.

I have a domain name already; can I still use it?

Yes! All we need is the log in information to the domain name provider (Godaddy for example). We will point the website from the hosting provider to your domain.

Do you offer email accounts?

Total Web Company does not offer email hosting. However, we will gladly help you set up and connect an email to your domain through Gsuite or Office 365.

Can you send me a proposal?

Yes. After our initial phone conversation discussing the type of website you’d like, we will send a detailed proposal including page count, added features/plugins/design concepts and the price of the project.

Do you offer SEO or Digital Marketing Services?

Yes! Our sister company Total Web SEO specializes in local and national SEO for a wide range of businesses. We offer many different packages to fit your budget and help you achieve your SEO goals.
